Central Invoicing
Cash is king in any business. And relying on 1000s of individual independent retailers to pay outstanding invoices is not a feasible or sustainable working model.
One of the greatest assets of Innzone’s route to market is the guarantee of payment collection for a product that is sold, from the symbol group or newspaper provider – it is called central invoicing.
Each and every one of the 34,000 independent retailers pay their newspaper wholesaler weekly, whether it be Menzies Distribution, Smiths News, or Dawson News, with 85% on Direct Debit.
If and when Innzone receive an order from a retailer, the retailer is invoiced and that charge is simply added to the customer’s newspaper invoice 4-7 weeks later.

Payment for the invoice is then collected 4-7 weeks later by the wholesaler via Direct Debit.
The newspaper wholesaler then pays Innzone 7 days later, and the outstanding amount is settled, within a maximum timeframe of 8 weeks from delivery of the goods to receipt of payment.
With only a handful of creditors, central invoicing provides Innzone with a secure, speedy and highly efficient payment mechanism for their products.
